Philosophy
At Bush Babies, we aim to connect our children back to nature. We believe childhood should be wild, messy and curious.
Bush Babies exists to give children the time, space and permission to explore our world through the use of different play types. Nature is our classroom, one that children are allowed to get dirty in, experiment in and play openly. Allowing children to play in this environment helps them build confidence, resilience and a deeper connection to the world around them.
Individualism and freedom are celebrated thoroughly at Bush Babies. Every child is encouraged to play in their own way, at their own pace, following their own interests and instincts. There are no right or wrong outcomes, just experiences, discoveries and joy.
Who Is Behind The Face Babies?
It's me, Chelsye! In 2024 l bought Bush Babies Playgroup off its original owner in order to not let the magic disappear. Previously l had played, laughed and created at Bush Babies with my two sons, River and Sunny. When the opportunity arose to keep the playgroup running, l jumped at the chance in order to not let this wonderful experience disappear.
In my personal life l enjoy going on adventures to new places, learning to bake and l am currently in my arts and crafts era.
