Bush Babies Playgroup
What is Bush Babies Playgroup?
Looking for a playgroup that is fun, messy and outdoors for your child? Bush Babies Playgroup is the place! Our weekly sessions in Glengarry, Gippsland are designed to encourage connection to land for our children through the use of open-ended play. Each week is based around a new theme that invites children to explore, create and learn in a welcoming environment.
Where is the playgroup?
The playgroup is located on Burnet Park Girl Guide Camp on Guide Camp Road, Glengarry, Victoria. It is a secluded camp ground surrounded by wild animals, a flowing river and beautiful nature.

Why join playgroup?
Our playgroup focuses on allowing the child to lead. Each week a set of open-ended activities are set up based around a theme, but the children are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to play or create with the activities as the way they want to. At Bush Babies, we believe that children do not need to be sitting still inside 4 walls to learn. Open-ended play fosters the growth of cognitive, social, physical and creative development, all in which are essential development skills.
What age does playgroup suit?
Bush Babies Playgroup is best suited for those crawling to those aged 6 years (however parents are also known to enjoy the activities).
